The Science gadgets shop is an e-commerce platform selling toys and gadgets. Probit Media was approached to improve the profitability of campaigns across paid search and social for the Christmas 2017 campaign.

Using historic data we determined the most effective areas of activity, looking to build on these as a consistent source of revenue while we explored additional areas of opportunity, such as Google Shopping , . Daily budget plans were created based on a combination of previous daily performance for all channels, combined with shopping trends and key periods in the Christmas selling period.

Our dynamic approach to budgeting provided us with the ability to determine the types of campaigns we wanted to target on any given day. for days allocated less budget we relied more heavily on brand campaigns, expanding our coverage to include additional non-brand, product specific keywords, as well as integrating Google Shopping ads for those allocated more budget.

As a startup with a direct need for their first web site, the project timeline was short. The goal was to build the homepage within weeks, it was also necessary that the complex message of how the CyberAl Secure Application Gateway works, it required to be explained in a very clear manner that would resonate with company mission and vision .


Using animated illustration we met the client’s goal of using few words with participating left-to-right pictures to indicate the 3 steps of the CyberAL Labs process: Request, Threat Analysis, and Securing the Access. These illustrations and text demonstrate clearly how they service works. .

The problem

The Ultimate Travel Experience is a luxury holiday and tour operator who specialises in making customised travel experiences. Their knowledgeable team of experts create unforgettable and tailored holidays to the most eye-wateringly stunning locations in the world.

The solution

Our job was to design all four sites’ of the company to fall in line with the overall brand and migrate over 4,000 pages with content to a brand-new, WordPress multi-site which would be the new hub of The Ultimate Travel Experience online presence. Digital marketing is a big part of Ultimate’s overall strategy and the new site had to be totally SEO-friendly and all-powerful in the eyes of Google and designed for maximum return on paid conversions.


Since the launch of the new site in January, The Ultimate Travel Experience have seen a considerable increase in goals and conversions. In addition to the results highlighted below, traffic has increased from 1342 visits for November and December, to 4533 visits for January and February, and continues to climb. As well as this, the introduction of responsive design has had a big impact, with 35% of traffic coming from mobile and goal completions increasing from 13 to 80 during the same time period.
